Appropriate Dressing – Elderly people should wear lighter cloths during summer. Natural fabrics such as cotton are much better than synthetic fibers as it is much cooler and comfortable.
Protection of Eyes – Elderly people must wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from the sun. The rays coming from the sun may irritate and harm their eyes. Wearing sunglasses will protect the eyes from UV rays which are harmful to eyes.
Avoid Hyperthermia – Excessive body temperatures during summers must be avoided. Excessive heating of body is a condition known as hyperthermia. Some of the symptoms of hyperthermia are:
